Making Dunedin student moves simple.
We built Student Storage Co to take the stress out of moving between flats.
Why we are here
Every year, thousands of students across Dunedin face the same problem: leases end, new ones don't start until January, and somehow everything you own needs to go somewhere in between. We built Student Storage Co to solve exactly that, a simple, affordable way to store your belongings over the break, so you can focus on what matters most.
Who We Are
Student Storage Co was founded by Mike, a former University of Otago student who knows firsthand how chaotic the end-of-year move can be. After experiencing the scramble of packing up a flat, sorting logistics, and figuring out where to put everything until the new year, Mike set out to build a better way, one made specifically for how students actually live and move.

Student Storage Co is a dedicated team of movers who understand the pressure students face at the end of the year. We're passionate about solving this problem properly, with a service built around reliability, care, and making student life just a little bit easier.
Who we serve
We work with students across all types of accommodation in Dunedin.
Flatters
Moving from one flat to another over the break? We store your belongings between leases, so you're not stuck relying on friends, family, or a tight turnaround to make it work.
Halls of Residence
Heading into your first year of flatting? We help first-year students make the move from hall life to their very first flat, without the added stress of figuring out storage on top of everything else that's new.
Values
Students first.
Everything we do is built around making student life easier. You've got enough on your plate, storage shouldn't be one more thing to worry about.
Study hard, live well.
Being a student is a short and important chapter. We believe you should be able to focus on your studies without missing out on the summer, not stuck in Dunedin packing and moving when you could be making memories.
Simple, not complicated.
We keep things straightforward, clear pricing, clear steps, no surprises.
Always improving.
We're a young company that's constantly learning and refining how we do things, so the experience keeps getting better every year.
